My first Youtube short! A simple clip of a crash that I wasn’t involved in, but clearly saw. Content like this would surely do well, so I just needed a catchy title: That’ll hurt in the morning!

I didn’t add a description for this video. At the time, I wasn’t aware you could upload shorts from the browser, nor that they appeared in your content from the normal way.
I didn’t feel that going back to this content would be worthwhile to add a description.

For my first short, I wasn’t sure how this would go. I uploaded it on my lunch break at work and it seemingly got no views 😕
Something that evening made it take off (relatively, compared to other videos on my channel) and by the end of the first 24 hours it was 212 views! By the end of the next day – seemingly about the lifespan on a Youtube short – it had peaked at 918 views!
That was rather exciting! I only gained one subscriber from this video though, so although I’m getting more views, I’m not necessarily enticing people to keep coming back. I’m not convinced uploading Shorts is the way to hook return visits though.
It would have been nice to hit that 1000 views mark, but it was damned close!
