Quicker, but I didn’t win!

Quicker, but not fast enough!

This video still doesn’t have a voice over, just the lap counter and lap timer.
The aim for this session to get quicker than my previous 59.444 second lap, preferably to win too, but as long as I went quicker, I’d be happy.

Unfortunately, whilst I was close, it just wasn’t to be this time around! A bit of a shame, seeing as this visit was free, thanks to the #Grid Membership birthday session!

Adult Race session at the TeamSport Sheffield track.

The track layout in use this time was the full-length international layout.

I’m now a TeamSport Grid member!

My best international layout time going into this session is 59.444, can I improve? Unfortunately not, I only managed to get my time down to 59.622, and someone else in the session went faster than me – I’m not a good loser!

Although I’m a member, I’m still currently choosing to run only in the arrive and drive style 2x 15 minute “Adult Race Experience” events whilst I get more consistent with my times and get better at overtaking cleanly.

Some figures

This was the second video I uploaded to my Youtube channel. In the first 24 hours, there were 4 views – that’s double that of my first video! However, unlike the first video, after 1 month that had not double, and only hit 7 views.

To date, this is my worst performing video with a lifetime view count currently on 11!
